The Discovery Channel has some really fun shows. The other night I was watching FutureWeapons, where the did a demonstration of the Army's Future Combat System (FCS). While watching the show, I was surprised that the SUG-V robot from iRobot (you know, the robot vacuum company) was controlled using a wired Xbox 360 controller. I had seen an article on Joystiq about it early last month, but they didn't have specifics on the robot or manufacturer.
Man, wouldn't that be a fun job? I wish they had an MOS for Robot Operator a few years ago when I was looking at joining the military.
Slightly reminscient of another famous robot, perhaps?
