Robert McLaws: Windows Edition

Blogging about Windows since before Vista became a bad word

Where the Shell Did They Go?

Does anyone know what happened to the Windows Shell team? They launched the Shell:Revealed blog with great fanfare earlier this year, only for it to become basically dormant the last two months. Are they on a post-Vista vacation, or did the new Sinofsky regime put an Office-style blogging lid on developers? Anyone have any inside info?

They have been less vocal on the forums.

Probably due to negativity. Due negativity. Negativity none-the-less.

  • There were 3 posts in the last 2 months. Hardly an active blog. And pretty ridiculous considering the time and expense of creating a CommunityServer skin.

    Hey azz0r,

Haha, i think you can partly be blamed for the negativity! :P

    Na you're right,

Theres way to much negativity in the forums.

Also it’s probably the most unfriendly forum I’ve have ever been to!

No one seems to care or give a crap about anything.

    Sad really
