Blogging about Windows since before Vista became a bad word

Since the Vista news has exploded in recent days, I'm going to start doing link posts for the articles that I think are important, but I don't necessarily have anything extra to add to the discussion. Without further ado, here it goes:

ActiveWin's 72-page Vista Review. Holy crap those guys never sleep.
Neowin says the Windows Vista Family Discount is not issuing proper keys. I've passed a note on to upper management, so hopefully this gets resolved quickly.
Sandro Villinger thinks "Living with Vista" got too much credit. I sort of agree, but I think they were trying to tell other families that Microsoft listened to their needs, so I get it. Would have been nice if they had given the Windows online communities a mention, tho.
Windows Aero won't kill performance - "Quite frankly, we were shocked by these results." [via The Electric Wand]

If you don't have it, I just wanted to send you a link to a benchmark test that I came across, comparing performance of several games on Windows Vista versus Windows XP with various video cards and memory. Most of the benchmarks seemed to come up fairly even, which suprised me.
