- AMD surges past Sony, Micron, Infineon, and Freescale to become the #8 microprocessor company in the world, with 3% marketshare and a whopping 96% growth. Of course, a good portion of that was from the acquisition of ATI, but it was a very good move. Nvidia is at the bottom of the list, down two spots from last year. [via Neowin]
- Microsoft security guru Michael Howard is not happy with the Vista press lately, and has his own cynical take. A little hard to follow, but fun nonetheless.
- Curious to what Windows Mobile 6 is all about? Mr. Mobile has the answer. He's put together a very well-done PDF file outlining the differences between WM5 and WM6, and even tells you what features require Exchange 2007.
