New Blogger on Windows-Now - Doug Knox

My name is Doug Knox and I'd like to thank Robert McLaws for the invitation to host my blog here on  Some of you may be familiar with me and the work I've done in the Microsoft Communities over the years.  I started out helping users with Windows 95 and moved up through the 9x platforms and into Windows XP and Window Vista.  I've had the good fortune to be able to test and support other technologies such as the ill-fated Windows Powered Smart Display, Windows Media Center (including the new Digital Cable Tuners <aka CableCard>) and a really cool offering from Microsoft called Windows Home Server.

For now, you can find my previous blog posts at, but they'll be moved over here, as time allows.

I look forward to spending some time here, helping keep folks informed about what's new and cool and hopefully learning things along the way.

And you can always feel free to visit my web site at

Best regards!
